this is one of the cutest furnaces for a small dog I've ever purchased. it's made very nice and sturdy. I just have a little 5 lb Chihuahua but it probably hold a big dane. it's made for strong dogs. I love it it'll last her more than one summer. fits are great she's 5.5 lb and I got an extra small and it fit perfect. I'd say they're pretty much true to size. wish they made them in more color so I could get her another one.
