GE PHB920FJDS 30 Inch Smart Freestanding Electric Convection Range with Induction

We've only had the range for 2 weeks but so far I like it. We never had an induction anything before but so far it seems like we like it - good control, fast heatup. I was worried that it might not hold a consistent temperature but so far in the limited cooking we've done it has been easy to control boilovers cooking pasta which is a good sign. The Power Boil doesn't seem too different compared to the rest of the "burners" though. (Speaking of burners it's nice that while there's residual heat on the stovetop when cooking it doesn't get overly hot which makes cleaning up less stressful.) We've tested some all-clad pots and pans. The powered delivered seems to vary on the ratio of pot diameter to burner diameter but so far we can use every size pot and pan on every burner size - with these pots we don't get error messages. I think the glasstop looks really cool but it would be nice if there was a lip to contain spills - it's just a clean dropoff at the edge. The oven has been good so far. The temperature is much more accurate than our 17 yr-old GE. The Wi-Fi feature seems like it's in prototype stage - there's a lot of glitches with the app. Who knows, maybe a firmware update can be sent in the future since it's connected. It would be nice if it came with a temprature probe for meat, etc. I think another brand has that. The oven light is bright enough which is nice. The storage door is identical in feel to our old range - wobbly, so no improvement there. We're happy with the range and would buy it again if for no other resson than the temperature controls for the stovetop literally go to 11.
