I hate to share my problem as it is not pretty but other people deal with this too. This pad is a TRUE lifesaver. Somehow I got a bladder infection and at night it was horrible. By the time I got out of the covers I had gone from dribble, to leak to omg I can't hold it......and this pad soaked it all up immediately. Pee never had a chance to leak out whether I was sleeping or running to the bathroom. Sometimes I completely emptied my bladder before I got to the toilet. ugh When you see this pad contain 2 CUPS of liquid with no leaks it is amazing. Once I even squeezed it after 2 cups of urine filled it......not a drop left the pad! I would cry because it all was so screwed up. This is the ONLY pad of any brand that could contain a full amount of infected bladder pee. I think there is no worse female issue on the planet than not being able to hold urine and the sudden pain the contractions bring during an infection. There were times with other pads I had to clean up floor and change sheets because urine got out. That is the LAST thing you need to help you deal with UTI's. I have been in the backyard and suddenly I feel like my bladder is getting shocked and I have zero control of my urine. No chance of getting inside. and yes I would cry out of frustration. but these pads helped immensely and completely. Try them...keep some in the house as you never know when a blasted UTI will show up. The frustration goes away

Like these much better than the Poise pads I had been using, thinner and actually more absorbent. I would recommend giving them a try to see how you like them since everyone is different.
