Excellent FIRST shave, but ONLY the first one.

Purchased the Schick Hydro 5 a few years ago with plenty of extra blades. First shave was always smooth & close. Second shave was ALWAYS noticeably less. By the 4th shave the blade was dull. Since the costs of refills are expensive, I'd try and force at least 6 to 10 shaves out of each blade, but they were not pleasant at all. It felt like I was ripping the hairs out. The Gillette Fusion Proglide I purchased a couple months ago is exceedingly better. Finished my 10th shave and the blade is still sharp, comfortable & cuts close. Never going back to Schick.
