This upgrade carburetor fits all Yamaha 4HP 4-stroke outboard engines 2009 and newer and converts them to 6hp. If you are unsure of your outboard year, compare the picture of your carburetor to this one. The older style carburetor it will look noticeably different from this carburetor (the most obvious difference is the throttle connection on the older models is not on top of the carburetor like this one).
