Weird sizing

I bought two pairs - size 5.5 for my daughter and size 6.5 fit myself. They turned up absolutely identical?!

Worse snow boots I have ever had

These botos have virtually no grip. They are in fact a liability for walking on snow or ice. They also are not very comfortable and not especially warm. I do not understand how they are sold as snow boots!!! Very disappointed.
