One piece construction gives it a great feel, this rod held up to a snapping turtle trying to run back into the water and bending this rod past the point I thought it could survive. It held up, I would recommend this rod to anyone looking for a heavy duty medium heavy fishing rod. makes a great all purpose rig with an appropriate reel mounted to it. Capable of bass, catfish, carp, etc. This rod will not disappoint.

the rods were shipped in a card board box. 1 rod had 3 eyes bent and luckily the other rod was ok. the rods were shipped in rectangle boxes measuring about 5"x5"x5'. rods should ALWAYS BE SHIPPED IN A CARD BOARD OR PVC TUBE. other than that great rod, great price and fast shipping

This is the 3rd one of these I've ordered. These are very, very nice for the price, and they hold big fish without breaking. I highly recommend these rods if you're unsure on what to buy for anothijg bugger than trout. Very pleased, I will probably buy another one soon to do a catfish set up.
