Plugable's USB-C to HDMI Adapter (USBC-THDMI) allows you connect an HDMI display to your laptop, tablet, or desktop which supports USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode (Alt Mode) video output functionality. The adapter is equipped with an HDMI 1.4 port in order to support resolutions up to 4K 30Hz.
Performance
USB-C Alt Mode graphics adapters utilize a direct pipeline to the graphics processor in your system, and your connected monitor will function and perform as a natively attached display.

Perfect for older technology in newer devices
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This converter is perfect for us. We just got a new vehicle and all the plugs in it are the newer usb c plugs. Well we have some older technology with phones and tablets that we do not have the newer chargers for yet. With this we are good to go.

great adapter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this device to connect my android phone to my projector. It does the job and has minimal latency. I am not sure about 4K resolution because I guess it was originally made to connect a laptop to a projector.
