A solid desk after everything's said and done.
I'm a software developer as well as a musician, so I practically live at my desk. It's easy to maintain and takes heavy use like a champ. The little shelves on the side are mainly used for random supplies and small electronics, so I can't say for certain if they can hold anything actually heavy.

I loved the desk! The instructions on the other hand were super crappy. Definitely requires two people to assemble too. But at the end it's a good desk.
