Nice cable

This cable worked perfectly with my USB hub. The hub came with a cable that had type-a one end and type-b on the other. This cable cable allowed me to plug it into a type-c port on my laptop and it works great.

USB 3 and 2 are VERY different on the B-end of the cable. Be warned.

Just be VERY careful when you buy these. They are literally only going to fit in the USB-B connectors which are designed specifically for the larger more complex connector. USB-B for USB2 connectors are very different and far more common. I had to send mine back because I did not check the connector first. If you want to have USB-C to USB-B cables for more common uses, be sure you search for USB 2.0 cables. And take care that the B-end is going to fit your USB device's socket shape.

Good purchase

It was inexpensive, shipped quickly, and works just as well as the more expensive options. I?d recommend it. I got it to replace a missing wire for my older external HDD case. The Type-C on this model is a convenient upgrade so I don?t need to use Type-A to Type-C adapters. I like that it keeps my old purchase current so that I can get many more years out of it.
