1917 Military Reserve Aviator Wing

This is a sterling silver with the US letters in 24k gold plate reproduction of a 1917 Military Reserve Aviator Wing which was also used as a 1917 Junior Aviator Wing. This wing did not last long as in Europe a 1/2 wing was only worn by those who assisted a pilot. By Reserve Pilot it was a pilot who was in the Army Reserves. A Junior Aviator was a new pilot. This is based on a Meyer Design and 1/2 wings are rare.
