Right out of the box worked perfectly, didn't even read the instructions. I mostly use it with my tablet and phone when creating documents, and it is easy to have both screens running something and switch between them. Both devices are touchscreen, making most tasks easy when combined with voice control, but sometimes I need a real keyboard.
