The clean and simple design of this lamp is contrasted by the strong pattern of the bold, heavily textured, hand placed cocoa leaves. These leaves come from the same cocoa tree that produce the cocoa bean, the source of chocolate. By using these leaves, the cocoa farmers receive a secondary source of income, making this lamp both planet friendly and fair trade. Features fossilized cocoa leaves that are hand placed onto a standard UL lampshade backing using a non-toxic adhesive, laminated and formed into a cylinder shape. The shade is handstitched onto a powder coated, wrought iron frame and uses wooden finials as feet.
