Easy Breezy!

These work like a charm - cut twigs easily, lock when not in use, etc. A gardener can use them in many places throughout a yard. My only advice is to be careful as the blades were much sharper than I anticipated and when I went to clean them in-between pruning different plants, I cut one of my fingers. My fault though - guess I was just used to my old dull ones!!

if only the color stood out as nicely as the style

I bought 5 pair of pruners of different brands or models . I carry a pair with me on my riding mower and with a few acres sometimes I lose them so it was time to restock. these are a Walmart brand and although they are not cheap in price they are not cheap in quality either. I also bought a pair of fiskars for a bit more money . I am thinking these are the better pair with nicer features except for the color . fiskars will be easier to find in the yard but the expert Gardener has a hole built into the handle I have put a string through and maybe I can tie it to the mower so I am not looking for them. they also have an easy lock to keep them closed and it seems to work well. and you can slide a button to have them open wider for larger limbs. I have small hands so the smaller position is great for my hand and now if the stickers agree not to get too thick. they are my 1st pick out of the 5 pairs I ordered and had delivered to my door . they are still new so this is not to say they lasted the summer but they are the winner thus far.

Really nice bypass pruning shear

It looks like it has the capacity to be left-handed also, but I am right-handed so the switch came set to that. The rubber on the handles seems sturdy and they have a locking mechanism so that you can store them in the closed position. I haven't had the opportunity to use them yet, but they seem as though they will function well. It seems so odd to be referring to one tool with they/them pronouns, so I had to look it up and it's been going on for over a hundred years, so who am I to try to alter it. Lol
