Cover and protect wounds with McKesson's sacral hydrocolloid dressings with film backs. Its matrix design increases the dressing's flexibility to maintain the wound contact layer and allows it to conform to body contours. It's designed for wounds on the sacral area, which is located below the spine and above the tailbone. The McKesson hydrocolloid dressing has a cohesive dressing removal system that protects the wound bed from disturbances. The hydrocolloid layer absorbs moisture from the wound to create a gel covering that forms a moist and insulating environment for optimal healing. The 6- x 7- inch McKesson dressing has an inner layer that is highly absorbent, which removes fluids from the wound. The dressing is semi-transparent, allowing for visible wound monitoring without having to remove the dressing. The outer layer is also moisture-proof to minimize the risk of contamination.
