Ruffino Modus Toscana IGT Italian Red Wine weaves together vibrant fruit flavors from Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot varietals. Only the best grapes were chosen from the Poggio Casciano estate and were picked at optimum ripeness. Each varietal adds its distinct characteristics – Sangiovese lends texture, Merlot adds smoothness, and Cabernet provides structure – to blend harmoniously into a delicious wine representative of Tuscany. This full-bodied dark red wine blend reveals notes of blackberries, cinnamon, and clove, with silky tannins leading to a long finish. This wine was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
