The Apollo 5-string Jazz Bass pickups have a traditional look, but the punchy and articulate tone they deliver is definitely unique to Seymour Duncan. These pickups use a linear humbucking design where two coils sit next to each other under the cover to cancel hum, while the voicing of the coils gives you fatter lows and crisper highs, right down to the low B string. This pickup set uses the cover size of traditional Fender 5-string Jazz basses.
