Heads break off

Purchased Artifacts handshower in chrome and polished nickel. The plastic head on the handshower in our master bathroom broke off between 5-6 months. The same thing happened to the handshower in our dogwash at 1 1/2 years. The product looks nice but it doesn't hold up. We rarely use either handshower, they just hang in the holders.
