Safer and stylish, better than Note7 S-view.

Previous Note 4 and Note 7 owner with Sview cases on each. They protect the screen pretty well if you're not careless. This seems like an upgrade from the note 7 sView in how you're able to see the entire (not just a 1/3 cover window) always-on screen through the semi-transparent front flap and can interact with it to an extent. (answer calls, or double-tap notification icons, silence alarm, but NOT take photos) Transforming to kickstand mode is nice, and has a cool lip to keep it in place. The magnets in this model that fasten the back opening/kickstand mode to the phone are nice for it not falling apart as you pick it up. There are some slight bumpers on the corners, but I can't imagine it'd withstand too high of a drop. However, putting my phone in this felt 100% safer compared to raw... and it looks pretty good.

Use Bixby to get most out S view note 8 cover.

Had the note3 for years straight with the Samsung Sview cover on it. Not Perfect but good for corner damage (done 3 week) and and only one line crack in the last 7 monthsout of 4 years. This cover is better with corner protection. Great in pocket. Kick case is cool. Yes finger magnet. Just wipe the case. Great to swipe phone calls and snooze button. Also answer calls. Clock is my watch with is always on. Taking pictures and music was easier on note 3 sview. Just press the camera button or music icon. Now activate Bixby and state camera or other app that you want to use. See U tube video. Will have this cover and phone for another 4 years!

Gorgeous and Functional

This is the first case you should buy. I love that I can access whatever I need to at a glance, and the kickstand is perfect. It feels tough and will protect your phone while looking great.
