Show Ponies vs Patio Heaters

The heater is a beautiful conversation piece. They are basically "show ponies." My family and friends love the glass enclosure and the dancing flame. Even the weight and design makes them stable enough to prevent knocking them over. BUT, at the end of the day, I bought 2 of them to provide heat on my open patios but they failed miserably in doing the primary thing they are made for. Now I have to figure out how to return them because repackaging is impossible once they are assembled. I understand now why they were so deeply discounted.
