Speck Presidio Stay Clear Series Case for Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max (6.5) - Clear

I have purchased clear cases from Speck through several generations of iPhones and there's a reason why I keep going back to the brand time and time again. As the cost of smartphones increase over time, so does my desire to have the absolute best protection for it. While I'm not careless and clumsy when it comes to my phone, I do, occasionally, drop my phone; whether it be on a soft surface, such as carpet, or the hardest of surfaces such as concrete. Speck cases have provided the best protection for my investments. When it comes time to trading my phone in for a new one, I always get top dollar on my returns, as the phones look brand new...thanks to Speck.

I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max 512GB Gold. Since it's the highest tier iPhone, it costs me a small fortune. I have AppleCare but I always make sure that I get a case that will look good on the phone and protect it. The Speck met both of my demands with ease. Lets get the Pros and Cons out of the Way Pros: Affordable, Durable, Will survive most drops 100% of the time, Comfy Grip in Hand Cons: Rounded Corners, Back Glass is Frosted, Buttons Require Some Force With that said, I really like the Speck Presidio Stay Clear. I'm fund mainly of clear phone cases because I'm a purist. I usually put a dBrand skin on my phone so that it stands out from the endless sea of iPhone models. However, I do like my phone to be protected since it's an investment. The Stay Clear handles those two requirements well. For us purists, you are able to see the natural beauty of the phone or you can show off your custom skin. Either way, it serves it's purpose to allow the viewer to see the phone and not some gaudy case. The case itself is very durable. It doesn't scratch in my back pocket (although it's not inside with keys since I carry my phone in my back pocket), and the material is robust. Nothing about the case feels cheap. It adds a bit of confidence when holding the phone. What I really like is that it does not smudge easily, which plagues a lot of clear cases, however the compromise is that the back glass is not 100% transparent. It's somewhat frosted or hazed. It still looks great though. My biggest gripes about the phone are two things. I really don't like the fact that the buttons are so hard to press. I know that they protect the phone, but they still require more force than most other cases. The other thing, and this is a personal preference, is I like the edges to be more square and not rounded. Mainly because it looks better, but it also helps the phone sit up better. Otherwise, the case is great and I strongly recommend it!
