Instant oil lamp!

These are great for making your own oil lamp. I didn't know what to do with expired vegetable oil other than throw it away. I had hubby pound a nail in the middle of the metal lid to make a hole. fill jar half way with oil. Then pull this wick through it and put the outer middle ring on, instant oil lamp!
