Great Wireless Card

Bought this card to replace the single band one that came in my Dell Inspiron 3137. With my old card I had issue pairing to bluetooth devices like my JamBox in Windows 8 and 8.1; installing this card (and all of its required driver from Intel) fixed all my issues. This could have had something to do with this card using bluetooth 4.0 and the old card using an older version. Whatever the case it worked out. Although I have not used it with an AC router I have not had any problems connecting through 2.4 and 5.0 GHz G and N connections. I did have issues getting wifi to work in Ubuntu but that's my fault for not being Linux savvy enough to be able to get the driver to install. Overall this is a great wireless card and a great way to future-proof your laptop. I mentioned it briefly before but you need to install the related driver from Intel for wifi AND for bluetooth (they are two separate drivers) to get this card to work fully and properly.

good price but....

The price was good. It took 10 days for site to store so not the fastest but free to ship that way. The wireless setup and worked flawlessly but after several hours I could not get the bluetooth to work. The system would not even detect the device was present. This was going into a Dell laptop and should work. I tried Dells version of the driver which is just an ealier version of thre intel driver with a dell wrapper. I ended up returning it.

Had High Hopes

My old n/bluetooth card died about a year ago. HP wanted $75 for a replacement. Saw this and believed two birds - one stone. Get the latest technology and get my bluetooth and WiFi back. Card fit perfectly, but could not get my notebook to boot. Turned it on and immediately got a message saying "unauthorized card - remove and reboot." I had no choice, but to replace it with the old malfunctioning card. If there was a way to get this to work, I couldn't find it. There was no documentation or even a website suggestion. No choice - I returned for a refund.
