Vela 27 in. x 78 in. Glass Shower Panel Single Fixed Panel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This frameless shower door is beautiful, it's very simple yet creates a space that's modern. I'm currently in the process of construction for my mother In law suite. Building a master bedroom with a decent sized shower. This glass shower door has totally opened up the space of the alrighty tight quarters. It made the bathroom look modern and it's nice having to only clean one shower panel. There are a variety of ways you can install this piece. Our contractor figured out the ideal place to set it and has worked from there. Depending on where you put it you don't have to worry about water running all over the place. We placed the shower head above so that it would shoot water straight down. Overall I am very pleased with how sturdy this piece is. I will be honest and say that I didn't install it as my contractor did. If you don't feel comfortable installing a piece like this on your own I would recommend hiring someone to do it. Its coated with something that helps with scum residue not sticking, which is a must as I am not going to be the one cleaning that bathroom up. So if my mother in law forgets I won't have to worry about crazy scum buildup. Great for a small bathroom that will totally open up the place and make the space feel extremely modern and quaint!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are moving to a new place pretty soon so decided to get a glass enclosure for the bathroom at the new home. I received the hardware a day before the glass door and there were 3 small chrome brass clips and rubber blocks to secure the huge 28 inch x 78 inch glass panel. I wondered if it is strong enough to secure the door. With the given DIY which came with the hardware, I think glass will be super easy to install. The instructions are very clear for easy installation. The company also sent links with instructions to watch the installation videos. The glass panel was very heavy but the packaging was very secure and the corners were protected. Also the glass is treated with EnduroShield, a non-stick treatment which makes cleaning shower glass easy. It repels soap scum, grime and dirt, reducing cleaning time by up to 90%. Will have to wait after installing the glass to see how solid it is. Happy with the product for now.
