Safer Brand Snake Shield Animal Repellent Granules For Snakes - 4 lb.

I've had the Snake Shield for about 3 weeks now. I put it out immediately after receiving it. We live in the foothills of the north Georgia mountains, so we are prone to see copperheads and water moccasins as well as king snakes. We have a 3 year old and a 6 year old in our house and last year, I heard the 3 year old screaming. I was in the front yard and went running, only to find a snake in the garage. I had just came from there and there was no snake. Needless to say, I worry about snakes around our house. Thankfully that snake happened to be a king snake. That being said, I was glad to receive the Snake Shield. I've been wanting to find something to help repel snakes around our house. The 4 pound bag was more than enough to go around our entire house as well as our Koi pond. The Koi pond is a snake magnet and atleast several times a year, I find or see several snakes around it. I guess they want to eat the fish or like the cool water, either way, I look everytime I go to feed the fish to make sure there are no snakes around it. Well, it's been 3 weeks now and the Snake Shield seems to be working. I've not seen any snakes, or any signs of snakes around the pond area or the house. I am especially thankful to find something that is friendly for people pets and plants, because we also have two small dogs that like to play in the yard. It makes me feel better knowing that it will not harm my kids or my pets. I am a fan of Snake Shield and highly recommend it to anyone who lives in areas prone to snake habitat.
