Cheap but not bad

Cheap, but they work. Got two sets for two different smaller sedans and I have driven my pair right off the rack for 20k miles, ZERO Issues. Done some road trips and they holds up in strong rain, plus they don't feel “dangerous” in the snow I'd say. If you just need something that is good enough for a safe driver, and don't want to spend more than you have to, these tires are genuinely great. Definitely not a real winter snow tire!

Good tires and EVERLASTING LIFE!

so far so good with these tires. time will tell. this is my second set. y wife likes the. Good seller and item is as described. More important than driving up and down the roads of this world, is where are you going to spend eternity. My friend, you know we all are going to die someday. If you don't know Jesus, IT'S NOT TOO LATE! kneel down and ask Him to forgive your sins. He will. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16 The Lord Jesus is calling you!

Starfire is truly a Great Value!

Really happy with these tires. Starfire is a value subbrand of Cooper Tires, an American Company. I have purchased the predecessor to this model, the RS-C 2.0, for the last 5 years and have been really satisfied with ride quality and longevity. I was told the Solarus is the successor, and I can see why - there is only a slight variance in tread pattern, only in the center - the rest is otherwise identical (helps since I bought 2 to accompany my pair of newer RS-C's). The Walmart price on this tire is unbeatable - I just had to order them online, get them shipped to the store, set up an appointment, show up, and 30 minutes later, drive out with new tires. Cooper is an American company. My RS-C's were manufactured in East Asia. These tires were manufactured in Mexico, per the sidewall marking. I determined they are made in a plant in Guadalajara in a plant that also makes Goodyear tires (https://maps.app.goo.gl/qXHjapA7yxbdz6FF6). Jealous that my tires have seen more palm trees than me. ;-P
