The set up is easy but takes a bit of strength to get the top together if you're building it alone but still not difficult. It's very simple for a male or female at any age including seniors. It's a wonderful intimate little alcove for sitting outside during a gentle rain, watching the grandchildren play or nighttime staring gazing in balmy weather. I would definitely recommend this item to others, I would buy this again.
