Nope nope nope

Received product this week and started looking forward to a Saturday morning washing the siding on my home. Thirty minutes after starting the job the wand disconnects from the pole. After examination it appears it is only held in place by 4 nubs in the shiny aluminum section of the wand. Best I can tell it is either a defective design (hard to believe in a mass produced product) or perhaps an assembly error. Either way it is not able to be used. Samm Btw I am a grandpaw who is pretty gentle with my hand tools.
