This is a sturdy set of benches that we keep at the end of our bed. It gives us extra storage in our bedroom and also a place to sit to put on our shoes. It has the added bonus of being a step for our dogs to get up on the bed. The material has held up quite well the last several months even with the dogs nails on them. It's a solid set.
