Snap Ships Wasp / Falix Battle Set - Build to Battle

I was intrigued by the concept of Snap Ships and thought this would be a good set to introduce myself to the mechanics. I was impressed with the connectivity and versatility of the build and the detail given in the instructions. My kids helped me build them and they were thrilled with the play value and blown away by the way they could quickly customize their own. It's been a hit with them. I would definitely recommend. Here are my takeaways: Pros: -Great instructions for the suggested builds -Highly adaptable and fun to assemble -Lots of great play value -Possibilities are exiting, from impressive fleets and massive warships, it's a system that only gets better as you add to it. -Well thought out and detailed pieces Cons: -one or two connections feel a bit spongy even after checking connection but still hold with a firm grip -One of the cockpits for the pilot figures isn't very forgiving in how the figure can be positioned. -Small pieces are plenty so keep away from toddlers.

The parts are much more substantial and higher quality than I expected. They have a really nice positive span when they are put together and hold up to actual play. The figures we received were not the ones pictured in the directions or on the box, but they were still cool. I liked that the box caps double as display stands and that all the parts and completed models fit back in the box for storage. #sweepstakes
