These are great for swimming. I really have no desire to show off my thighs. These are just so comfortable. Very modest, but form fitting and flattering. I love the pockets so that I can put my phone in. My tanktini top sits at the hip and it's perfect for these shorts. It's the same brand. I also got the tops from Walmart. Very reasonably priced. I bought this in Black also because I liked it so much. I bought a medium. I weigh 140 lbs and am 5' 5”. Perfect fit!
