Columbia Womens LOVELAND MID OMNI HEAT, Black, Sea Salt, 10

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Women's Loveland Mid Omni-Heat Boot from Columbia Sportswear for the winter season. The boots are mid-rise so they come about half way up my calf. When choosing which boots to purchase, I put a lot of thought into my choice. I wanted my boots to not only be water resistant for walking through slush, but also able to keep my feet incredibly warm. Pros: These boots met my needs as being both water resistant and warm. The inside is lined with a thermal reflective material that traps your body heat you produce inside your boots. The sole is thick rubber that not only hold ups to trekking through ice and snow, but creates a water-resistant seal around the shoe. I have also noticed the boot doesn't dirty easy. I also like that your ankle is not rubbed raw from the material on the back of the boot. Cons: The only thing I don't really love about this boot is that the shoe laces are not the type to stay tied. You have got to double knot, triple knot those babies to keep them from coming loose. Conclusion: These boots are worth their price! They will keep your feet warm during those negative degree days and it is totally safe to walk through slush on the roads or even mud on those really cold, rainy days. I definitely recommend this product they are comfortable, reliable, and pretty cute!
