All the feels!

Oh my gosh!! Hux and Everly!!! They are everything that sizzles, angst that will bring tears to your eyes and ALL the feels!!!! Holy heck, did I love this book! I didnt realize I was going to adore Everly as much as I did. The hero is usually my focus point, but Everly totally won me over one hundred percent. Watching her natural flow with Hux was magic. She had a way about her that is hard to describe which shows the talent of this author when it comes to developing characters. Hux was the type of hero that I can never get enough of. He was grumpy, frowny, and determined to keep others at a distance. He had this raw and rough edge. A simmering brood that wafted off his body in waves. A warning. A message. Stay away. But when Everly enters his life, he begins to make decisions that weaken his previous resolves. Gah! I love when that happens. Watching his downfall was wonderful and extremely emotional. Together, Hux and Everly set my kindle on FIRE! They absolutely blew up the heat-o-meter. Everything between them felt real, from their battle against falling in love, to their moments or honesty with each other. The conflict between them as well as their own personal issues often had me tearing up if not actually crying out loud. His silence was too much to bear. Because in his silence was acceptance. Confirmation that all Id ever been to him was a means to an end. This is a fast read, with great pacing and some wonderful characters. Whether theyre a good guy or a villain, they are well developed and support the story along the way, authenticating the plot. With an amazing epilogue that highlights where this couple is a few months down the road, it also gives us a tease of what is to come. And I can hardly wait!
