FOR THE LOVE OF MARY (1948) WAS DEANNA DURBIN'S SWAN SONG TO HER FILM CAREER. SHE NEVER DID A COMEBACK FILM. THIS FILM HAD EDMOND O'BRIEN (OSCAR WIN 1954), DON TAYLOR, AND JEFFREY LYNN AS HER SUITORS. A LOVELY END TO A GREAT FILM CAREER. A MUST OWN DVD FOR DURBIN FILM LOVERS.
