I purchased these for my mom, who lives in a nursing facility. I bought them for their stretchiness because she is a bit "thick around the middle" as my grandfather would say. They seem like they will fit her. My only problem is they are supposed to be a 2X and they have another size on them that is a size 12. That isn't extra-large. The material is soft and will work well in the summer. Although she is wheelchair bound, they will cover her legs and keep her warm in the air conditioning.
