Not recommended

I bought this item last September (7 months ago) I've used it about 5 times and it broke while I was whipping merengue. Horrible product. I thought it was the best brand. I had another brand for 4 years used it daily and never had any problems.

poor quality

This just arrived. The wires did not look shiny like the rest of the whisk. On further inspection it was also sticky. The part that was attached to the mixer had watermarks on it like it was used and washed. So, I thought maybe it was a used and returned. I tried to wash the wires but they still look dull. This reminds me of the whisk that came with my mixer. The wires were stainless steel which was great. But the end part was probably aluminum and would stain black on my hand when i detached it

KitchenAid needs to do the right thing - Upgrade!!

Do I need to be worried about what is constantly coming off on my food????? Such a well built mixer, such a great brand. Would love to see KitchenAid do the right thing and upgrade my attachments starting with my wire whisk. Still happened even though I hand wash the attachments the black stuff on the hands never end.
