Looking forward to great single crust pies

I haven't used these yet, but am looking forward to making my favorite springtime single crust pies. After years of using dried beans I finally got around to buying some pie weights. I was surprised how heavy a small container of them is. One feature of this product that I love is that they come in a substantial container, which put to rest my concerns about corralling a bunch of small pieces.

Pie weights - why did I hesitate?

My pie crust came out flakey and delicious! The bottom was perfectly formed! So thankful of the decision to purchase!

Pie Weights

These pie weights work great. After use I rinse them and let the dry on a towel on a cookie sheet. Would probably need to get 2 to completely fill a deep dish pie plate, so it's good King Arthur sells a set of 2.
