In the entire city of Duluth, I could only find one other Jack-in-a-Box and it had a pop-up clown. Most children are afraid of clowns, so that was a no brainer. I was delighted to find this kangaroo one online at Walmart. It arrived when it was expected and although I knew our 1-year-old granddaughter wouldn't be able to turn the "crank" just yet, she loved watching the kangaroo pop up...and she'll eventually be able to do it all by herself. I also like that the little baby Joey can be easily removed as a finger puppet. I thought the price was reasonable and now I have another gift idea for other little kiddos.
