Carlisle Trac Chief
OVERVIEW
The Carlisle Trac Chief is an all season tire manufactured for industrial applications, such as standard duty skid steers and compact tractors.
The tire ensures excellent all weather traction. The aggressive lug pattern and all season tire compound upgrade the dry, wet and winter weather road grip to ensure the model's constant road contact. The increased road contact enables the vehicle to perform to its best ability. The lug design keeps its contact with the road surface to improve the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In this manner, the steering becomes more responsive to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it.
The model features a reinforced sidewall structure. Its primary function is to optimize the tire's shape and prevent deformation under the driving and load pressure affecting it. As a result, the tire does not deform during its usage, promoting a secure performance. Secondly, the stronger structure actively resists damage from harming its casing. It prevents cuts, punctures, tearing and bruising from damaging the tire, which lengthens its usability.
The Trac Chief protects its rims from damage. The tire's sidewall is designed in a way that it guards the rims from damage in order to offer a safer drive.
This tire has a BIASED ply structure.
Manufacturers only provide the width and rim diameter with these tires. Various brands and models will have discrepancies. To ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter should be checked.
The Overall Diameter advertised represents the overall diameter in inches, once it has been inflated and mounted.
Due to the acquisition by Carlstar Tires, Carlisle tires are now manufactured under the Carlstar banner.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
