Flag wouldn't work after a power outage

A power surge knocked out my first flag.After my second flag came. I annalized the flag a discovered a plastic block.It contained a fuseable link . I lowered the 30 foot tower to get to the flag. I cut open the plastic block and it was burn't in half. There was the PROBLEM. I swapped the front cable. And it works now. To be more causis I pluged it into a surge protector
