It looks great and it came extremely well-packed. No tools were needed and I was able to assemble in 20 minutes and I'm not a handiman type of person! The shade looks like a nice linen shade. The base is very heavy. The lamp looks exactly as pictured. One nice touch is that the cord and step-on switch are clear in color so they are not distracting from the pretty lamp.
