Although a bag wrapper teabag, the smooth taste did not seem effected by the paper holding the tea. This tea proved to be just what I needed to abate the cough that would not go away, even with cough drops. I found myself enjoying the hot steamy mixture when up at night and yet I was able to go back to sleep even after drinking the tea in the middle of the night. What a perfect relief to my throat and sinuses. I highly recommend throat coat tea.
