CAMPLUX 1.3-Gallon Mini Tank Electric Water Heater, with 2 Years Warranty, 120V, 1.44kW

Initially we were going to try to hook the point of use water heater to the kitchen sink but our regular water heater is close enough to the kitchen we receive adequate hot water so we tried to think outside the box of how we could use this in a bathroom located a long way from our existing water heater with the water lines running through the north wall so in the winter by the time the water has reached the shower it isn't as hot as the water in the shower located upstairs right above the regular water heater so to get creative I wanted to try this point of use as an accessory to the current water heater. We installed the point of use water heater in a cubby hole located right outside the shower and hooked up the current hot water line that comes from the regular water heater to the inlet valve and the out going to shower line. With the easy plug for a 110 outlet it was up and running within an hour. We have found this works GREAT! With the water already luke warm by the time it hits the point of use unit it only takes seconds to heat it up to a nice hot shower. Due to how well this has worked out we have decided to do this with our basement shower as well.
