If you're unsure, get it & you'll love how soft!!

Was worried because this looks scratchy but it is super soft. My daughter wears a 5T in literally everything. She is age 5, 43" tall, & weighs 38 pounds. I ordered the XS 4/5 and is fits her so wonderfully, slides right on even over the long sleeved polo shirts. Not too big at all yet she still has room to grow in kindergarten.
