Dried tart cherries

I am fond of many varieties of dried fruits. I prefer to get those that don't have added suger. Don't recall if this brand does or doesn't. I like both sweet and tart varieties of dried cherries. I like to make my own mix of dried fruit, and I like dried cherries to be in the mix. For some reason I don't care for fresh cherries, but I do like them dried. They are good for you either way, so this is a good way to add their nutrients to my menu. I would get these again, as they are good. Although I like candy and cakes, etc. I find I really prefer fruit to satisfy my sweet tooth, so I rarely buy the unhealthy sweets for home use, and mostly just have them when I occasionally eat at the homes of relatives, or eat out. This way they are an occasional treat, without piling on any guilt. So, eat more fruit at home, and less process sweets.

I don't like them.

These cherries are more like candied fruit - that you use in fruit cake - than any other dried cherries I've had. They are soft - like plump raisins - and not very tart. The cherries are packaged in Bayside, NY, at a facility that also might package peanuts, etc. There is no information on the origin of the cherries. I probably will not buy these again.
