The drive shaft assembly is responsible for distributing power to the Polaris Quattro Sport’s wheels assemblies which gives it the ability to move along the surface of the pool, as well as climb up and down the walls as the cleaner, sweeps up the dirt and debris which causes the pool to be dirty. The part is long enough so that it can reach both sides of the wheels. The sprockets on both ends connect to the sprockets on the wheel which gives them the ability to turn. There are four screws required on each end of the drive shaft which locks the shaft into the chassis ensuring it cannot move or detach itself while the cleaner operates.
