Transeagle ST Radial
OVERVIEW
The Transeagle ST Radial is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
The tire promotes great all weather traction. The symmetric tread design is able to firmly grip the road surface in dry, wet and light winter conditions. The wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The better hydroplaning ability and all weather traction ensure a safer all weather performance and response to the towing vehicle.
The model's specialized ribbed tread design also enhances its controllability. The solid shoulder ribs and the three siped center ribs keep the tire close to the road at all times. This improves the steering responsiveness, cornering ability and driving stability. The tire's structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it, while the shoulder design increases the model's cornering ability and power. The tire's steering responsiveness and accuracy to the towing vehicle's instructions is also first-rate, ensuring a comfortable driving experience.
The symmetric tread design also ensures a longer lasting tread life. The solid shoulder ribs maintain constant road contact, which manages to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally circulated forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoid irregular wear formations and increase the tread life and the tire's usability. The result is an extended usability which makes the tire more cost efficient.
The ST Radial promotes exceptional durability. The reinforced internal structure maintains the tire's optimized shape under the driving pressure affecting it. As a result, the tire does not deform under the load pressure affecting it, as the strengthened full nylon and ply construction improve the tire's durability. The tire is able to carry and withstand heavy loads with this reinforcement, which ensures a safer driving experience and a better performing ability.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
