on copper nails for killing trees. pre drill hole half diameter of nail first. copper nails bend very easily. but these are thicker but still bend. recomend drilling as far in as possible.cut flush hammer smooth then tap deeper with nail or punch if you can reach deeper in trunk the better. bigger the tree use several.
