Product details
Providing deep touch pressure and gentle vestibular input, this swing makes the perfect sensory solution for a quiet, reading and/or study space. The machine washable fabric is soft to the touch and makes for easy cleaning. Includes integrated loop for hanging on a chain or rope. Swing is designed to be suspended from both metal rings, hung together to create a teardrop cocoon, attached to an anchor bolt (not included) that is secured into a structural beam in a standard 8” ceiling. An appropriately sized chain or rope (not included) can be used to lower the swing seat to proper height which is dictated by the user’s weight, needs, and size. The lighter the user, the lower the swing can be hung. When in use, the swing seat should never be higher than 16 inches from floor. Entering the swing may require assistance, as it will need to be pulled down to allow access. Do not use with swing stands or as a hammock. Weight capacity is 120 pounds. Adult supervision is required at all times. Measures 60 x 40 inches. Not for children ages 3 and under.

Straight to the ground
I bought this for my daughter and she weighs around 80 pounds. We put it on a 10 foot ceiling just the way it comes and it went all the way to the ground. It doesn't hold at all!!! Don't let the pictures fool you, it stretches so much but it won't hold them so they can't swing. I'm trying to return mine but haven't had much luck.

To install, suspend swing from both metal rings, hung together, creating a teardrop cocoon. Attach to an anchor bolt that is secured to a structural beam in a standard 8’ ceiling. A suitably sized chain or rope (not included) may be used to lower the swing seat to the proper height, which is dictated by the user’s weight, needs and size. Entering the swing may require assistance, as it will need to be pulled down to allow access. Do not use with swing stands or hammock. We are so sorry to hear that the swing is not meeting your needs. We reached out to the manufacturer with your concerns. They did reiterate that the swing is designed to be suspended using both metal rings from a ceiling at least 8 feet high and that it will not work well when hung from a frame or stand.
