Growing up, my mother hung our sheets outside to dry. These sheets come so close to reproducing the sensation that we kids felt in the outdoor dried sheets. They are stiff to the point where you can feel them wrapped around your body, unlike flimsy sheets that you can hardly tell are there. They are also warmer. This is our second set and as far as the color, white is white. The corner pockets keep the sheets in place.

Perfect sheets! Crispy, but soft. Airy and light but not thin. Perfect for winter and summer! I won't buy any other sheets now. They are a little wrinkled along the edges after washing, but you could iron them. I dont. I dont mind it. I have 2 sets for our King bed, a set for a guest room in a queen and a set for our camp trailer which is a queen. I'd love to get just extra pillow cases, but they are hard to find from this maker. I did find some here at Walmart online finally! I've purchased the light green, yellow, off white (cream) and white between here on Walmart and Amazon. I love changing sheet colors to match whatever my quilt or duvet cover is, so I'll buy more in different colors as I can. Price point is perfect. These are true cotton sheets. No "silk" feel to them, which I absolutely do not like in a sheet. Highly recommended!
